As we’re in the early stages of what’s being called the 5G revolution, it’s natural to wonder how to protect ourselves from potential risks associated with the technology. 5G is expected to bring about major developments, including remote robotic surgeries and citywide changes in services. It seems that these changes are imminent, so it’s important to educate ourselves on how to stay safe in the age of 5G.
Once we look into it, we can see that 5G is made up of three different types of towers, namely low band, medium band, and high-band (or millimeter-wave). From what I understand, the low band and medium band signals work in a similar way to 4G and other technologies we already have. It seems that while they could cause health concerns, they aren’t anything groundbreaking.
I personally think that the Millimeter-wave 5G operates at a much higher frequency compared to other technologies. Honestly, our knowledge about the impact of 4G exposure is limited, and we have even less understanding of the effects of exposure to frequencies in the high band 5G range.

How to Protect Yourself From 5G
Here are a few things I can consider doing to protect myself and my family from 5G exposure:
Locate Towers In Your Area
One problem I see with 5G technology is that it’s still in its infancy. We, telecommunications companies, are still in the process of rapidly expanding our 5G networks, and, as a result, we’re building more towers all the time.
Choose Rural Over City Living
If you’re worried about the potential health risks associated with 5G, it’s worth considering where you live. When the 5G networks are fully developed, there will likely be fewer dead spots, especially in rural areas that are more widely covered by low-band networks. However, it’s still important to note that your overall exposure to 5G radiation in rural areas will still be lower than in densely populated cities with millimeter-wave towers nearby. So, if you want to minimize your exposure to 5G radiation, living in a rural area or the woods might be the better option in my opinion. Of course, this isn’t practical for everyone, and if you’re already established in a city, moving may not be an option. But if you’re planning your next move, you might want to consider a more rural area to reduce your exposure to 5G radiation.
Turn Off Your Cell Phone At Night To Protect Against 5G Radiation
Instead of using earlier-generation signals like 4G, all phones will eventually be connected to the 5G network or WiFi. Although giving up a cell phone may not be a realistic option, turning off your phone at night can decrease your exposure to RF-EMF radiation. Cell phones emit blue light which can disrupt sleep by affecting the natural production of melatonin. Sleep is essential for the body’s restoration, so it’s important to take steps to reduce exposure. If you need to keep your phone on, consider putting it across the room from you as you sleep like what always does.
Use A Protective Bed Canopy
If you want to keep your phone close to you at night, a bed canopy might be a great solution. Canopies can also protect you from radiation coming from nearby towers. These protective covers are usually made of mesh shielding material and attach to your ceiling at various points, draping down over your bed. For the canopy to work, it must completely cover your bed and be fully closed after getting into bed at night. Although they can be costly, bed canopies are one of the best ways to ensure that your body heals itself fully while you sleep. Try Two Coats Of EMF Paint
If I have identified a 5G tower near my home, I can consider using EMF paint on the interior walls to protect myself from radiation. EMF paint is available in different types, some containing metal flakes and others without. Even a single coat of this paint can be effective, although some manufacturers suggest applying two coats for additional protection.
YShield is a popular brand of EMF paint that contains a mixture of water, graphite, and carbon. It has a jet black color that can be easily covered up by another color of silicone-based paint if desired. One thing to keep in mind is that YShield’s paint is conductive and must be grounded by a licensed electrician. This is not a unique feature, however, as many other brands also require grounding.

Supplements To Protect Yourself From 5G
As part of my daily routine, I already take various vitamins and supplements. However, I recently learned that some of these supplements may also help my body repair itself from damage caused by 5G and other sources of EMF radiation. Since completely eliminating my exposure to EMF isn’t feasible, giving my body the tools it needs to heal is the next best option.
